Help Jade Regain Her Hearing!

Hi, I'm Jess Beran and I'm fundraising for my dear friend Jade. Jade has been through many difficult trials already in her life, and this latest one is something we, her friends and family, can actually do something tangible to help with. Jade was recently diagnosed with Otosclerosis, a condition in her left ear in which a small bone in her ear is degenerating. As it deteriorates she loses more and more hearing. At this point she has only 20% hearing in that ear. It has become difficult for her even to hear her youngest son due to the nature of the high pitch of young children's voices. Initially doctors thought they could perform surgery to replace the bone in her ear and fix her hearing, but they then discovered she also has dwindling hearing in her right ear, leaving her with only 50% hearing in her "strong" ear. The doctor decided Jade's best course of action is to get hearing aids. Because she is rated as having "profound hearing loss" Jade needs high level hearing aids that will cost $4500. Due to other medical issues she's also dealing with (and paying for) at Mayo Clinic, I am hoping we can bless Jade by taking this bill off the table for her, and provide her with the gift of hearing! The sooner we can raise the money, the sooner Jade can return to a quality of life- hearing her children, not straining to hear her clients at her therapy practice, and all the sounds we so often take for granted.
