Help Jade & Mark Become Parents

A heartbreak isn’t always as loud as a
bomb exploding, sometimes it could be as quiet as a feather falling, and nobody hears it except you.

The year was 2013 when we met and found true happiness with each other. 4 months later we were engaged. Another year and a half later, we were married on what was the happiest day of our lives. Everything was falling in to place so perfectly and things could not be any better.

We had always discussed having kids, starting a family...all the things you talk about when your getting your life started together. We talked and talked and came to the conclusion that it was something we so desperately wanted.

We were so excited to begin our journey! Never in a million years did we think 6 years down the line, we would be where we are today.

After a couple of years of trying, we decided it was time to seek help. We were referred and bounced around by the NHS, but for multiple reasons, we wouldn't qualify for NHS funding for any fertility treatment. We were absolutely heartbroken thinking this was the end of the road for us.

The first lockdown came along and gave us some time to think about our options. After some thinking and extensive research, we decided going private for fertility treatment was the way forward. We were convinced it would be a case of getting some medication and we would be OK! How wrong was we?! After of months of tests (which included blood tests, operations, scans, you name it!), we were told our only hope of having children was through IVF/ICSI. We were once again heartbroken, thinking this was the end of the road. We could never afford IVF!

We saved every penny we had and had tons of help from family! We were once again excited!! This was really happening! We were finally going to become parents!

A full IVF cycle complete in Novemeber unfortionatly ended abruptly as I was at risk of my ovaries over stimulating, which can cause very serious side effects and complications. The Dr advised us to freeze any embryos we had and to start again next cycle.

Next cycle came. Here we were, excited again! I started the medication, injecting myself daily again. Transfer day came and we were just beside ourself with excitement. The two week wait to find out if it had been successful or not was torture but there was no doubt in our minds that it wouldn't work.
I can't explain to you the pain we felt in our hearts when we got the phone call from the nurse, and she said the words, "we are really sorry, it isn't good news." Our world fell apart. We were angry, upset, heartbroken and every other emotion you could possibly imagine. But we picked ourselves up and carried on. There is always a next time right?

Next cycle come along. Once again we were pumped, excited and ready! The medication started, the daily injections and 2 embryos transferred! Another two week wait, the whole time were thinking "it won't go wrong a second time!" I upped my dose of medication, had different injections that helped with implantation, went for extra blood tests, had acupuncture...we done everything we could. Yet there we were again, hearing those words on the phone, "we are really sorry, it isn't good news."
How could this be happening to us again? Where we not good enough to be parents? Why us? What do we need to change? What did we do wrong? Everything went through our minds and the heartbreak just continued.

The consultant can't figure out why it isn't happening for us. They are saying we are just "unlucky", but this "unlucky" scenario is just a reoccurring nightmare for us.

We have shared our story, to ask you to be a part of our dream. It has taken a lot of courage from both of us to put our story out there for everyone to read. So please please donate what you can. Your donations are so greatfully recieved. If you are unable to donate, then please share our story.
We have so much love to give. Please help us, and be a part of our journey.

Thank you,
