Help Jade Find a Safe Place to Live

didn’t want it to come to this, but unfortunately I’m taking to fundraising to ask for assistance in finding a new place to live.

after a series of unfortunate events over the past 2 years, including being assaulted by my step grandfather and having to take him to court, losing my full time job, and more, I thought I found a safe place to live. The situation turned sour over the months and it had gotten to the point where I need to leave. I have until April 11.

my current landlord is incredibly unprofessional, going as far as disrupting my great grandmother’s funeral to ask me about things around the house. It has reached a point where I have to take videos and photos proving that I’ve done certain tasks, and taking pictures to cover myself when I’m not home as to not be blamed for things. Before making this decision to leave, I was even blamed for bringing roaches into the home despite them coming from a separate area in the house.

I’ve reached my breaking point and came to a mutual decision with my landlord to leave. It works out, because it is also far out of my budget now due to losing my FT job due to layoffs in November.

I am currently working 3 jobs plus freelancing to support myself, and with the costs of everything adding up, I worry I won’t have a place to live in time.

so, this GFM will help cover any security deposits and moving costs for when I find a new place. I will be able to make the following months’ rent, I just need help with the last minute costs rn.
