JADE’S STORY:

Jade moved to Gladstone to be with family.

Things were going great in her life, her loving partner Chris was looking for a job, Jade was settling into her new home and enjoying work.

But things took a turn for the worse when Jade seriously injured herself at work 3 weeks ago.

She has been in hospital since.

She has lost all independence.

She can hardly walk and needs walking aid equipment, has lost feeling from the waist down, has debilitating back pain and nerve pain.

Both Gladstone and Bundaberg Hospital have conducted a magnitude of tests including 2 MRI’s. They found 2 prolapsed discs in her spine causing nerve compression but are unable to treat or diagnose her magnitude of symptoms.

With the constant cost of living crisis Jade has the struggle of balancing rental payments and soon medical fees as the public health system can’t help her.

My friend went from healthy and happy to bed bound in hospital.
