My name is Jada, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing a situation I never expected. I left my car, Blueberry, at a friend’s house for the weekend while I went to work. When I returned, I found out that my car had been driven without my permission and was totaled. Blueberry wasn’t just a car—she was my safe space, my peace, and the way I cared for my daughter and myself. She was my first car, and together we traveled up and down the east coast, helping family and friends whenever they needed a ride. Losing her has been heartbreaking, not just because of the loss of transportation, but because of the memories and comfort she brought to our lives.

Now, without a car, it’s become incredibly difficult to get my daughter and myself where we need to go. The open road has always been a place of healing for me, and not having that freedom has been tough. The support from this fundraiser will go directly toward helping me get a new car and covering the unexpected expenses that have come up because of this situation. I know it’s just a car, but Blueberry was so much more to me and my family.
