He's your favorite musketeer and my favorite weirdo...
And he's legally blind.
Jay's vision has been worsening.
The loss of his vision is affecting all corners of his life. It makes it difficult to fence (a passion that fuels him), make swords (a career that sustains him), and impossible for him to drive a car.

We were able to get Jay a consultation with an eye doctor who said he is an exceptional candidate for lasik eye surgery with the potential of coming out of it with 20/20 or even 20/15 vision.
The surgery costs $4,800. Any additional funds received will cover the cost of missing work during recovery.

Jay is my partner and best friend. He has been a light to me when all seemed too dark to bear. He always has open ears and an open heart, and the strength to tell you what you need to hear (even when you don't want to hear it). I've seen him inspire strength and compassion in others. I've seen him run towards danger, always putting others before himself (he nearly jumped out of my moving vehicle to save a dog not once, but TWICE).

No donation is too small. If you are able, please help Jay gain sight and the independence that comes with it.
If you are uncomfortable with this platform please reach out to me or Jay personally and we can work something else out.
