Jacquelyn Lore is 30 years old. She was diagnosed with a very rare disease called Behcet's Syndrome when she was 16. There are fewer than 20,000 cases in the United States. Behcet's causes an inflammation of veins, arteries, lymph vessels and in Jacquelyn's case the inflammation of the central nervous system. She lost her ability to walk and has been in a wheelchair for the last 8 years. However, a great opportunity has developed for her to acquire leg braces, so she can learn to walk again.
