Help Jacqueline's Family Fix Their Flooded Car

Hello Community,

My friend, Jacqueline Patterson, who you may know as a long-time Bolinas community member, disability advocate, BCC Board Member, and/or the loyal and loving single mom of four incredible humans, needs help repairing her family’s car.

In one of the recent atmospheric rivers, their Subaru sustained flood damage and the family needs our help to raise $3500 to tow it over the hill and have the necessary repairs made.

Anyone who lives in West Marin knows how dependent we are on our vehicles to access essential services. But not everyone may know how unbelievably challenging it is to navigate the fraying safety net that exists to support people who live with disabilities. I recently had a period of temporary disability, and navigating the bureaucracy to receive timely benefits was literally impossible. It was the help from my family and friends that got me through. We can do the same for Jacqueline and her family. If we all pitch in a little bit, together we can get this incredibly independent and capable crew back on the road, back on track to meeting their goals and needs.
