Help Jacqueline Rebuild After Losing Everything in a House

My name is Marcus Alsobrook, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my mother, Jacqueline Alsobrook, a loving, faithful, and resilient woman who has endured unimaginable loss in recent weeks.

Jacqueline is a diabetic and recently underwent surgery that resulted in a partial foot amputation. She’s been in and out of the hospital fighting for her health. On what was supposed to be the day of her release, tragedy struck, and our family home burned completely to the ground.

We had no insurance coverage at the time. It had lapsed because we’ve been putting every dollar we had into my mother’s medical needs. We simply couldn’t keep up between emergency surgeries, hospital stays, and recovery needs, we had no extra funds to pay the home insurance.

This wasn’t just any house —this was my grandmother’s home, passed down to my mother. It carried decades of memories, family traditions, and the spirit of generations. It was our safe place. Our history. Our anchor. Everything my mother had built and held dear was in that home — and now, it's all gone.

By God’s grace, she wasn’t in the home at the time of the fire. We fully believe that was divine intervention. If she had been released just a few hours earlier, we may have been mourning an even greater loss. For that, we are deeply grateful.

But we are now starting from absolutely nothing— no home, no possessions, and still battling health issues. We are humbly asking for help.
