Jacqueline has been by Bmo’s side for nearly his entire life. Bmo is a 12-year-old Boston Terrier she’s had since he was just three months old - her constant companion, best friend, and family.
Recently, Bmo’s health took a sudden and heartbreaking turn. After a routine dental cleaning, something wasn’t right. Instead of bouncing back within a day or two like he always had, Bmo became extremely lethargic, trembled constantly, needed to urinate frequently, and struggled to walk. Jacqueline rushed him to the vet, where he was diagnosed with pancreatitis, likely triggered as his body tried to recover from anesthesia.
Since then, Jacqueline has done everything possible to help him heal. Bmo has been hospitalized twice for close monitoring and IV fluids, placed on a special diet, given appetite stimulants, and completed a three-shot treatment specifically for pancreatitis. Despite all of this, Bmo has not improved. He’s still not eating, barely drinking, remains weak and lethargic, and now wobbles when he walks - his legs often giving out beneath him.
The next and only remaining step is advanced imaging - X-rays and possibly an MRI - to understand what’s happening inside his body and determine how to help him move forward. Unfortunately, these tests come with significant costs on top of the already overwhelming medical expenses Jacqueline has been facing.
Jacqueline would do anything for Bmo - and she already has. We’re asking for help so she doesn’t have to face this alone and can continue fighting for her sweet boy’s chance at comfort, answers, and healing.
Any contribution, no matter the amount, helps ease the financial burden and brings Jacqueline and Bmo one step closer to the care he needs. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser means just as much.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
