Help Jacqueline Fight Kidney Cancer

Hello, my name is Jacqueline. I’m 37 years old and I was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma, also known as kidney cancer, in March 2025. I’m a mother of five wonderful children, and I’m reaching out to you first thing , asking for your prayers and support as I embark on this new health challenge. I know that God has control over everything, and I’m trusting in His plan. However, I’m also seeking any help that can be provided.

Recently, I lost my job due to the frequent absences I’ve had due to scans, appointments, and hospital stays. I’m scheduled for urgent surgery because the size of my tumor is 8.4 centimeters. I need to have surgery soon to prevent the risk of the tumor spreading to other organs and to reduce its size, which has already taken over most of my right kidney. As a result, I’ll likely need to have my entire kidney removed to improve my life expectancy.

I understand that surgery is expensive, and my insurance only covers a portion of the cost. I usually don’t ask for help, but this situation has taken a significant toll on our family. My husband has missed so many days of work, taking me to appointments and staying with me in the hospital until I’m back on my feet. He’s been taking on the role of everything, and I’ll need to start cancer treatment soon after the kidney removal.

I know that I have a long road ahead of me, but I’m determined to get better for my children and husband. This situation has brought immense heartache and fear to our family, and the financial strain of treatments will be overwhelming. I’m asking for any help that you can offer, whether it’s financial assistance, emotional support, or anything else that can make a difference.

Necesito operarme pronto para prevenir el riesgo de que el tumor se extienda a otros órganos y para reducir su tamaño, que ya ha ocupado la mayor parte de mi riñón derecho. Como resultado, probablemente necesite que me extirpen todo el riñón para mejorar mi esperanza de vida.

Entiendo que la cirugía es costosa y que mi seguro solo cubre una parte del costo. Normalmente no pido ayuda, pero esta situación ha afectado mucho a nuestra familia. Mi esposo ha faltado muchísimos días al trabajo, llevándome a mis citas y acompañándome en el hospital hasta que me recupere. Él ha estado asumiendo la responsabilidad de todo, y tendré que comenzar el tratamiento contra el cáncer poco después de la extirpación del riñón.

Sé que tengo un largo camino por delante, pero estoy decidida a mejorar por mis hijos y mi esposo. Esta situación ha traído un inmenso dolor y temor a nuestra familia, y la presión financiera de los tratamientos será abrumadora.
