Hi, my name is Jacob Stevens. I am currently a Sophomore at Fresno State, focusing on a Bachelor’s of Music Education.

The Director of Bands, Gary P. Gilroy, is retiring this year from Fresno State and decided to go out with a bang by accepting an invite to perform as a Premier Band of 80 students including me, in New York City.

We will be going next year in April for one week, performing in Carnegie Hall, going to see a Broadway show, sitting in some legendary jazz clubs, and much more.

All of the donations will go to costs that include air travel, room and board, and food. Since I'm a full-time student devoting my time to school and music, this will be very challenging, but every second spent on this trip will help my career as a musician and educator immensely.

Anything will be greatly appreciated.
