Help Jacob Shine at New York Fashion Week

Hello! Welcome and thank you for clicking on this page. My heart is excited but heavy and so I'm asking for help. Jacob has just been presented a phenomenal opportunity to walk a fashion runway during New York Fashion Week this September! It is his dream is to become a professional model/actor one day. That is all he wants to do in the future. Also, Jacob doesn't even know about this yet! He doesn't know anything and it is so hard to not burst out and tell the great news! I am now in panic mode trying to figure all this stuff out.

My son Jacob, is 17 years old and had been diagnosed with Autism since the age of 8. His Autism also includes a lot of other diagnoses and disabilities that we have learned to understand and grow from. Being on stage truly brings him out of his shell. He says he's only ever nervous backstage but when he's in that spotlight, I see a completely different person.

I am asking for help with travel, hotel and food cost. This will not be a sightseeing trip. This trip is strictly just getting him to New York, he does his walk/photoshoots, and we come back home. It's a 9 hour trip one way. We are not booking flights because that is too expensive and I am trying to find a cost-efficient hotel for that weekend. It's hard to penny pinch in NYC but there are some options, luckily.

I am trying to give him every opportunity to succeed and the exposure from this one event could be mind-blowing! Any donated amount would be so helpful and we would be extremely grateful. Thank you for your time and have a blessed day.
