Two weeks ago, Jacob Prince suffered a severe traumatic brain injury after falling

from the tailgate of a moving truck. He was rushed to University Medical Center in

New Orleans, where he has been under the care of an incredible neurosurgical team. Jacob has shown hopeful signs of progress — he can now follow commands and respond cognitively. But he still faces an uphill battle: Jacob has no movement on the right side of his body and needs total assistance for basic tasks like mobility and self-care. His journey to recovery will be long and demanding, both physically and financially.His medical team believes that Jacob’s best chance at regaining independence lies in a specialized, out-of-network rehabilitation program at one of the nation’s top brain injury centers! These facilities offer cutting-edge, evidence-based therapies and technologies that aren’t available locally. Unfortunately, this level of specialized care is not covered fully by insurance and requires significant out-of-pocket costs.
