Jacob Lepiz was my beloved brother, a son, and a wonderful dad to his baby boy Diogo. We are all heartbroken by his death. He fought hard for three weeks, but his pain was too much and God took him from us. Jacob was a victim in a horrible car accident, and since the crash, he hasn’t woken up. He fought very hard while in the ICU, but after three weeks, his heart and lungs couldn’t handle the pain, and he passed away on his birthday, June 6, at just the age of 24.

Our family of seven is struggling to cope with this tragedy, especially as Jacob leaves behind a young son who will now grow up without his father. We don’t have other family within the states, so we are relying on the kindness of others during this incredibly difficult time. The funds raised will go directly toward putting Jacob to rest, allowing us to give him a proper funeral and viewing. We want his son to have a peaceful environment to say goodbye and understand where his dad will be laid to rest.
