Help Jacob & Lauren rebuild from their apt. fire

Hello, my name is Tim Scherer. I am starting this fund for my cousin's son and his wife due to them losing almost everything they owned in an apartment fire on Friday. Jacob and Lauren have to literally start over rebuilding their lives. You may have seen the news reports showing firefighters saving a wedding dress from one of the apartments. That dress was Lauren's. They have secured temporary living arrangements and luckily, both of their cars were not damaged. Their recovery journey has already begun and any support is appreciated.

HALES CORNERS, Wis. - The American Red Cross is assisting eight families – 15 people, including kids – displaced by a two-alarm apartment complex fire in Hales Corners Friday morning, June 4.

Three of the eight-unit buildings at Plum Tree Apartments near 108th and College were evacuated after the blaze began around 5 a.m. Everyone escaped in time without injury. However, the building is a total loss.
