Help Jacob Cover Medical & Memorial Expenses

Hi everyone,

My name is Jacob, and I’m reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my life. On February 25th, I underwent open heart surgery to correct a congenital heart defect that was putting me at risk for sudden death. While I’m incredibly grateful the surgery was successful, it’s left me with about $12,000 in medical bills even after insurance.

Then, as I was just beginning to recover, my world was shaken again: my father passed away unexpectedly on April 24th. We are now in the process of planning his cremation and a memorial service, which is expected to cost around $2,500.

With everything hitting at once, I’m struggling to manage it all financially. That’s why I’ve set a fundraising goal of $3,000—enough to cover the cremation and memorial expenses. Anything raised beyond that will go toward easing the burden of the medical bills.

We are still coordinating the details, but we plan to hold the memorial this summer in Watsonville, and we’ll be sure to keep everyone updated once plans are finalized.
