Hi, I am McKenna's aunt Nevitta and helping create this following a tragic hit by a box truck from a drunk driver to McKenna's car while Jacob and his friend were partly in the vehicle at the time of the crash. They were on their way to see family in Oklahoma on their way to also see the epic music festival called Dancefestopia in Kansas. They were exceptionally excited to see and meet their favorite artist called inzo! The driver was arrested on 3 felony charges. Jacob had extensive surgery to his leg, foot, and ankle as well as a huge gash on his skull. He is facing a long recovery and will be out of work for at least 2-3 months. McKenna and Jacob are also expecting a baby. The baby is being named Inzo, after that artist they were excited to go meet. McKenna and the baby were physically unharmed by the accident, but also experienced a lot of emotional trauma from this emergency.

He will have pins and rods for 6 weeks following a three hour surgery to repair his dislocated ankle, compound fractures and crushed bones. He will then have his second surgery to take out the pins and rods in 6 weeks back in Flagstaff. Then, potentially more surgeries so that his ankle can get back to full functioning.
