Help Jacob and Mateo get to Thailand!

Jacob "Siga" Ordoñez and Mateo "Maui" Ordoñez, Muay Thai Athletes have been selected to Team Canada to represent Muay Thai Canada at the IFMA Youth World Championships 2024 held in Bangkok, Thailand. This is their biggest opportunity to showcase their skills and hardwork on the international level and become Muay Thai World Champions!

16YO Jacob and 14YO Mateo have been training Muay Thai since 2017, competing since the ages of 9 and 7 yrs of age. They have a combined fight experience of 45 bouts, both amateur and professional. Jacob has been to this tournament 3 times before, each time placing on the podium and leaving with a medal. Mateo went last year in Turkey, and came shy of a medal, placing 5th in his stacked division.

Jacob also has plans to stay after the tournament in Phuket, to experience living his dream in Thailand for a couple weeks before coming home. He will be training hard and hopes to fight professionally while being there.

Although the brothers have much experience, their travels are not funded, and are paid for out of their families own pocket. They have been paying their own way to local shows, tournaments across North America and around the globe, and this time is no different.

Those within the Muay Thai community know how big of an opportunity this is for these boys. These brothers have already started their hard training for this tournament, getting before and after school-sessions. They have dedicated all their time to Milton Muay Thai, also teaching and mentoring the younger generation daily, in hopes of one day competing in the Olympics and soon professionally.

With that being said, we need YOUR help getting them there!
