Jacob Matey and Jason Bandoh are teammates on the Coppin State University lacrosse team. After an amazing season from both players, they have been chosen to represent Ghana at the upcoming Wildfire Lacrosse Festival this year and future lacrosse competitions worldwide. Our objective is to visit Ghana, join the national team, and inspire young athletes in Ghana while honoring and recognizing the sport we love.
Our lives have been greatly impacted by lacrosse, which has taught us the importance of leadership, tenacity, and teamwork. We now have the amazing chance to give back by representing Ghana's national lacrosse team with our abilities and enthusiasm. This trip is about more than simply competing against other countries; it's about promoting the growth of lacrosse in a country where the sport is still in its infancy, building bridges through sports, and exchanging cultures.
With your aid, we can completely commit to this objective by helping to pay for travel expenses training materials, and equipment expenditures. By making a donation to our fundraising, you are not only assisting us in achieving our own goals but also promoting lacrosse throughout Ghana. By working together, we can advance the sport and its core values while having a long-lasting effect on the lives of young athletes in Ghana.
Please join us on this thrilling journey as we represent Ghana and become a part of a movement that honors diversity, harmony, and the ability of sports to change people's lives. We appreciate your kindness and faith in what we're doing.
