My name is Alex Eakins, the cousin of Jacob Eakins, who was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Jacob is an IBEW Journeyman electrician out of York, Pennsylvania, Local 229. After a few months of worsening symptoms with fatigue, nausea, and weight loss, he was hospitalized and has confirmed Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Jacob is in Hershey Medical Center in Pennsylvania, in good spirits and is ready to fight but needs at a minimum 6 months to focus on fighting this. I am asking for any financial support you may have as his wife Gabrielle and two dogs need additional support with their mortgage, bills and everyday expenses while he is unable to work.

I will continue to keep this post updated as I receive more information. My family and I appreciate anything you can do to help Jacob and his family keep their focus on the fight at hand.
