Help Jacky & Mel Hart Rebuild After Losing Their Home
Last night, along with may others, our family experienced something no one should ever have to face. My sister, Jacky, and my brother-in-law, Mel, lost their home in the McNeil Canyon fire. Although the trailer is still standing, it suffered extensive damage and is unlivable.
In a matter of hours, they lost the home they built their lives in, along with countless belongings and treasured memories that can never be replaced. While we are incredibly grateful they made it out safely, they are now faced with the overwhelming challenge of starting over.
They also have three beloved dogs—Lucifer, Macho, and JB—who are safe, and we are so thankful for that. As they begin to rebuild, they need support with, clothing, food, replacing everyday essentials, caring for their dogs, and the many unexpected expenses that come after a disaster like this.
If you are able, please consider donating. No amount is too small, and every contribution will go directly toward helping Jacky and Mel begin rebuilding their lives. If you’re unable to give, sharing this with your friends and family is another meaningful way to help.
Please keep Jacky, Mel, Lucifer, Macho, and JB in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. Your kindness, generosity, and support mean more than words can express.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with them as they take the first steps toward healing and rebuilding.
