Hi, it’s me your pal Jackson Sturkey.

I’m asking for this support to record some of my original music, and start distributing it.

I’m a Cabaret singer and songwriter. I’m the Sturkey half of the writing team Sturkey & Studabaker. Will Studabaker and I are working on multiple projects currently.

Our big collaboration is with GPC Entertainment on a Halloween show called “I’m that Witch”. For that show we are writing 13 original songs. Will and I are also collaborating on my semi-Autobiographical piece “Wayward Sons”, and my first album, “Against the Wall”. I’m also working on my one man show Bite me.

I have been performing in NYC for the last 10 years. I’d show up to the opening of a letter if they’d let me sing one of my songs. I’ve been a perennial player of Frigid New York, Pangea, Don’t tell Mama, SoHo Playhouse and more. I’ve produced shows, written hundreds of songs, and I’m trying to step up my game as a creative and business person. I think the next step of that is recording these songs.
