I know most of you have seen all of our posts on Social Media. Many have asked what happened, how they can help, what's going on etc. Here's the story in a nutshell:

Our 18 year old grandson Jackson (Karen and Corey's son) was found unresponsive early Saturday morning. He was taken to the hospital in Wichita, Ks where they reside. The ER and Trauma Team tried several hours to stabilize him but it was not working. They began reaching out to other Trauma Center's to find the life support machine necessary to save his life. There were two procedures they could do or he wouldn't live through the night. The first procedure worked and stabilized him enough to travel. He could not be life-lighted in a helicopter because it was too bumpy and he needed a huge care Team to keep him alive. He had to be transported in a special Leer jet and was taken to Integress Baptist Medical Center and made the trip. Yesterday they had to add a second life support Cardiac bypass machine to help his organ function. This has been a nightmare, roller coaster few days. His condition is critical and he is in CCU. Our days are touch and go. We are expecting a lengthy time here. We have set up a Caring Bridge link along with the Go Fund Me page for donations, links for Paypal, Venmo, and a bank account for direct donations. The needs are huge for Karen, Corey, Shelby and Drew with medical expenses, travel expenses, living expenses, unable to work etc. Donna and I would appreciate any help for our kiddos that you can do. All help is appreciated and most of all every prayer that is offered is welcomed for our family. Jackson was scheduled to walk at graduation on Sunday May 23rd. While things are so uncertain in our situation, we also realize we serve the Great Physician. Jackson needs a MIRACLE and we are believing in one now!!
