Help Jackson Get the Treatment He Desperately Needs

For those of you who have met Jackson, you know he's no ordinary cat. He’s feisty, full of personality, and has been my constant companion through thick & thin over the past two decades.

At 20 years young, Jackson may not be as feisty these days, but he’s still a sweet, loving soul who has brought so much joy & comfort to both me and Ricardo. Just a few months ago, we lost his beloved sister Mia, which was devastating [and wicked expensive] ... and over the past few days, his own health has taken a sudden and serious turn. Jackson is lethargic, confined to the sofa, and barely eating or drinking. We know something is terribly wrong, but even after an urgent vet visit this weekend, we’re still without any real answers.

Jackson desperately needs further testing, x-rays, and possibly hospitalization to figure out what’s truly going on and give him a fighting chance. Time is not on his side. Every day that passes without answers makes it harder to help him—and harder for him to hold on.

As his dad, I can’t put into words how much Jackson means to me. He’s been by my side through moves, relationships, jobs, holidays, and countless more. Deep in our hearts, we know it’s not his time to go yet. We just need the resources to give him the care he deserves.
