Help Jackson Cover Extra Medical Expenses

On October 22, 2021, Jackson was admitted into the hospital for a serious illness. He had been sick for several weeks and had lost 40 pounds in just a few weeks. It was a critical and life-threatening moment for him, which we are so glad that he has made a full recovery. During this hospital stay, he found out that he was Type 1 Diabetic. He has been so positive and willing to take this head on. We are grateful for him and the strength that has returned into his life.

We are setting up this GoFund Me page for him to help alleviate several of the medical costs that have been incurred, due to this hospital stay. Unfortunately, he did not have the proper health care coverage to cover all of these medical expenses. In addition, he makes just over the financial limits, so he could not qualify for emergency Medicaid. The medical expenses include, ambulance services, hospital stay (with ICU), physician charges, and lab fees. The total amount for these services came to $65K. However, by working with the hospital and the other healthcare providers, Jackson will need to cover $6K of these expenses. He is working hard to balance all of the necessary costs, including maintaining his current financial responsibilities,
