Hello, my name is Jackson Mileur and I live in Tucson, Arizona with Leigh, my beloved spouse of 11 years. The car in the picture is my other pride and joy--a 2011 Nissan Altima that has dutifully gotten us around for the last 8 years. However, recent situations have made it harder and harder to keep it on the road. Last year, Leigh got severely injured in a tragic accident, and has been unable to work or drive since then. So my Nissan has had to do double duty getting Leigh to their medical and other appointments as well as get me to work.
However, as my car ages, things have been going wrong with it. My brakes are almost at the end of their useful life and my AC went out just as the hot season started. Then last month one of my tires went flat, and in the process of getting it fixed and putting it back on, the tire fell off the car and the car fell axle-first onto the ground. The damage caused by the car dropping to the ground broke the left fender as well as caused my radiator to crack. Now my radiator is not holding water and I fear my car overheating and exploding. An auto shop quoted me $1700 to fix the radiator, since my car is an older model and the hoses and thermostat also need replacing.
I cannot afford this. I am working as hard as I can but I am unable to fix my car without some help. I also depend on my car for my job. I am required to use my personal vehicle for work business. Due to this issue I have been extremely depressed, which has also affected my work performance, and I feel like I must do or say something or I will suffer in silence. Anyway, here is what I need:
Radiator/Hoses/Thermostat: $1700
Brakes: $400
Ubers/Taxis/other transportation expenses while car is out of commission: $300
Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for listening and have a good day.
