Help Jackie Start Over & Build a New Life Back Home

Hi, I’m Jackie.

After three years of doing my best to build a life in California, I’ve made the decision to move back home to Chesterton, Indiana (Chicago area) to rebuild and start fresh. This move means everything to me—a chance to reset, heal, and step into a new chapter with clarity and peace.

What was supposed to be a manageable move quickly became overwhelming. My moving costs unexpectedly tripled from $3,500 to $8,300, and with most of my furniture downsized—including my mattress—I’m essentially starting over.

On top of that, I’ll need to secure a reliable car to get to and from work once I’m settled.

I’m not making this journey alone.

I’m moving with my two sweet pets—Maverick and Pumpkin—who have been my heart and my support system through all of life’s ups and downs. They’ve given me love, comfort, and company when I needed it most. Right now, they’re a little stressed from all the boxes and movers, but they’re hanging in there and ready to settle into a peaceful new home. I’ll be sharing pictures of them soon once things calm down a bit.
