Jackie Rebman was hospitalized this past Tues. She is fighting a life threatening infection.  She is responding well to treatment and expects to be released Friday evening.  Jackie will be unable to return to her off grid cabin/residence upon release. I have a spare room she will reside in until more permanent housing can be secured. Her pets are being cared for.  Food is covered given the bountiful Driftless Region and her abundant foodie and farm friends and offers of meals from her friends.

Without medical insurance or a job, Jackie is in most need of financial support!! Monies to help pay her hospitalization and get her on her feet so she can secure work and a place to live.  

We are calling out to her VFC friends and foodies alike to help Jackie. Jackie was the face of our beloved food coop as Customer Service Manager for many moons. She took a hiatus from the coop with plans to travel and visit her daughters in CA, but the perfect storm of set backs knocked her down to her current struggle for health.
