Help Jackie make a full recovery

Jackie Hutchinson is my mom, and has been afflicted with a life-threatening disease called Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis Sndrome. To receive medical treatment, Jackie was life-flighted out of Renown Hospital in Reno to Utah University Hospital in Salt Lake City. Following the delayed diagnosis and treatment, 70% of the outer layer of her skin had to be surgically removed from her head down, resulting in what now resembles second degree burns all over her body.

She was recently brought out of a medically-induced coma and is being cared for in the hospitals burn unit. In addition to the healing process, she has been fighting a series of infections as well as struggling to keep her blood pressure elevated. Needless to say, Jackiehas been enduring excruciating pain.Jackie is the sole supporter of her household, which she managed by operating a dog grooming shop. Her husband died following his battle with cancer three years ago. With Jackie incapacitated, there is little to no financial support for her or her dependent family. In addition to her growing medical bills, unpaid mortgage and shop lease, she will need convalescent care as well as rehabilitative therapy. There is also a possibility that Jackie will need long-term care following the post therapy phase of her treatment.
