My name is Jackie, and reaching out for help is something I never imagined I would do. I have always worked hard and tried to handle everything on my own, but I’ve come to realize that I can’t do this alone anymore. For the past 11 years, I have been fighting for custody of my now 14-year-old son. Despite my best efforts, his father has continued to win in court, and it has been a heartbreaking and exhausting journey.

Recently, the truth finally came to light. For years, my son’s stepsister was being abused by his father, and nobody knew until she was able to leave and speak her truth. My son also found the courage to share what he had witnessed and experienced. I have been a witness to their pain for years, but it felt like nobody would listen. Finally, justice was granted, but the fight is not over. I am still battling to keep my son safe at home with me, away from the person who hurt him and his stepsister.

The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward lawyer fees and court costs so I can continue to protect my son and keep him in a safe environment.
