Jacqueline Howard, a beloved Humanities teacher and Student Support specialist at the Austin Waldorf School, recently had her apartment broken into while she was away on a hiking trip. The burglar was not conservative in what they chose to steal. Basic necessities such as her toothbrush, chargers, all of her pants, other clothing, and dozens of personal items were stolen from Jackie’s home, adding up to over $10,000 worth of missing possessions. This GoFundMe is to help Jackie get a start in refurnishing her home and buy essential items that she needs to teach, tutor, and live in Austin. Anyone who has had their home broken into knows that the grief is not only material, but emotional in having one’s place violated and this is a difficult time.
