Help Jackie Heal After Cancer Surgery

My dear friend Jackie just went through an emergency hysterectomy after doctors found her cancer was spreading. The surgery was performed in time, and we are so grateful to the medical team for acting quickly — but the hardest part is still ahead. Recovery will take weeks (maybe months), and Jackie will be unable to work while she heals and goes through chemotherapy.

Without a financial cushion, basic necessities like rent, groceries, utilities, medications, follow-up appointments, and transportation to medical visits are already becoming overwhelming. Jackie has endured so much heartbreak this past year: she lost her beloved Pritzy in August 2024 and her sweet Fufu in June 2025. Each loss knocked the wind out of her, and she never had the chance to rebuild a safety net before this health emergency.

Her roommate has been a true angel — cooking meals, driving her to appointments, and helping every day — but recovery needs more than one pair of hands.
