My beautiful Mama is fighting for her life right now, and my heart is breaking as I write this. She’s been on life support for days, her heart valves are badly damaged, and she has an aneurysm that the doctors are watching closely. Every beep of the machines is a reminder that we could lose her at any moment. She’s only 65 years old and she’s the strongest, most loving woman I’ve ever known. She’s the one who held our family together through every hard season, who stayed up late making sure we had what we needed, who prayed over us, laughed with us, and loved us with her whole heart. She’s my best friend, my biggest cheerleader, and the glue that holds us all together.
Right now we’re facing medical bills we never imagined, and the road ahead—whether it’s surgery, recovery, or simply giving her the best chance possible—is going to be long and expensive. We’re doing everything we can, but we can’t do it alone. If you’ve ever been loved by a mama like mine, or if you know what it feels like to watch someone you love fight for every breath, I’m asking you from the deepest part of my heart… please help us. Even the smallest gift means more than you’ll ever know. It tells Mama that she’s not alone, that her babies aren’t alone, and that there’s still a whole community standing beside her, praying and believing for miracles.
Thank you for reading our story. Thank you for caring. And thank you, most of all, for any love you can send our way. We feel every single prayer and every single dollar. Mama has given so much to so many… now it’s our turn to fight for her. With a grateful and hopeful heart, —- ~~~ Jackie’s Family
