Hi, my name is Jackie — and at just 37 years old, I was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL), an aggressive type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
For months, I battled what I thought was a stubborn infection — swollen lymph nodes, fatigue, inflammation, and pain — until the real answer came after imaging, tests, and a biopsy: cancer.
The good news is, I recently got results from my FISH genetic testing: It’s not mantle cell lymphoma, and not double- or triple-hit DLBCL. That means my cancer isn’t one of the most aggressive subtypes — and I have a better shot at responding well to standard chemo.
What Comes Next
Starting soon, I’ll begin 6 rounds of chemotherapy, along with multiple scans, bloodwork, and frequent appointments. While I feel hope and determination, I’m also facing the reality of treatment-related costs:
- Time away from work
- Transportation to near-daily medical appointments
- Prescription co-pays, supportive care, and recovery needs
- Essential living expenses during treatment
Why I Need Your Support
This isn’t easy to ask — but I’m reaching out because community matters. Your help will allow me to focus on healing, instead of stressing over how I’ll afford it all.
Your support will:
- Ease the burden of medical and living expenses
- Cover recovery necessities like supplements, meals, and care
- Help me stay strong through this journey, with one less thing to worry about

Jackie
