Help Jackie and Emilia Connect in Montreal

My name is Jackie Stallings. My daughter, Emilia, has a very rare genetic condition called MCOPS12. This causes blindness and neurological muscle issues. She is the most amazing human I have ever known. We have recently connected to others on Facebook. It is an extremely rare condition with about 50 families in the world so far. An MCOPS12 group has recently formed, and medical professionals in Montreal have begun drug repurposing studies.

The first MCOPS12 conference is being organized for this summer in Montreal. This is an opportunity for Emilia to meet other kids and for me to meet other parents.

I know things are hard for lots of people right now and I feel awkward even making this GoFundMe. I also feel really desperate to make this trip happen because I know how empowering it would be for Emilia and myself. So, if you feel inclined to help, it would be so very appreciated. We can and will apply for a grant from Idaho Parents Unlimited for $600, which will cover our food and hotel transfers.
