Hello! My name is Jack (Skellington)

I would normally never do this, but my mama paid for the emergency vet funds and I just want to pay her back!

Jack was found on the side of Route 422 unable to walk, and we thought he was hit by a car. Upon taking him to the vet, I was told his injuries did not match getting hit by a car but those of a cat that was thrown out of a car window at a high rate of speed.

The good news: no head trauma!! The bad news... he isn't out of the woods yet.

He has pretty banged up and bruised lungs, which is a huge concern. He has to be closely monitored to watch that the blood pockets in his lungs don't pop, which means more scans.

He also has a fractured/broken pelvis. He is unable to walk. He is crate/cage bound for 2 weeks to minimize any movement in hopes that it heals properly but will also require physical therapy and more scans and x-rays.

This sweet boy is estimated to be only about 7 months to a year old. He has so much life and love to give. No animal deserves this.

Our vet bill today was $555... and that's not the end of it. He has to go back weekly for x-rays and start PT as soon as possible.

This expense was not at all financially doable, but it needed to be done. I just really want to be able to pay my mom back for this. She never asks questions when I end up with another rescue. This one just required a little extra love and medical attention.

Anything is very greatly appreciated. Jack deserves the love he was obviously never given.
