Help Jack & Sheryl - Fight Lymphoma #JackStrong

This is my friend, Jack Einhardt. You might also know him as your friend, your neighbor, your family, Ms. Sheryl’s husband, or “the guy who takes pictures backstage at recital”.

He’s also Camden’s Poppy who he adores, loves to explore with and learn things from.

He is also the best dad to Shannon and damn good to Robbie too.

And he is part of the team that is Jack and Sheryl…. soulmates since they were teenagers and married now for 38 years. And that love will know no end.

This fall, Jack hadn’t been feeling well for weeks and then when he was ultimately hospitalized, he was diagnosed with Double-hit Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma. Even though it was a tough diagnosis, spirits were kept high, and a plan was put into place. Jack and Sheryl had a lot of faith in his medical team. Unfortunately, he suffered cardiac complications with chemotherapy. Things were further complicated when he contracted COVID while hospitalized.

A few times, it was attempted to get Jack home so he could be comfortable in his own bed, but complications would send him back to the hospital very quickly. Most recently, Sheryl, the love of his life, had to give Jack chest compressions until EMS arrived. Their family, including Camden, their six-year-old grandson, were all there when this happened.

As most of you are aware, medical bills are extremely expensive, even when we are just looking at copays and deductibles. So, we are hoping that we can help ease this burden a bit for them so that Sheryl can continue to be at Jack’s side so they don’t have to stress as much about how they will pay for these bills. Or maybe if she needs to pay someone to cover her classes a little longer, she can so she can rest. Because this is hard enough already. Let’s try to help make sure a pile of white envelopes doesn’t add to it. No donation is too small. Anything will help if we all come together!
