Help Jack Set a World Record in Antarctica

A solo walk, 1700 miles, across Antarctica. A world record attempt.

Pushing the boundaries of human endurance and mental resilience to discover what is possible, and to inspire others to explore within themselves.

1st leg of the journey... (Hercules Inlet to Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station)

Starting Dec 11th, 2026, I will begin walking, 702 miles from the Hercules Inlet to the South Pole. Averaging a marathon (26.2 miles) a day, I will arrive at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station on January 7th, 2027. This extremely demanding journey begins with pulling a weighted sled through a significant 9,300ft climb to reach the polar plateau. The conditions are incredibly harsh, 24 hours of sunlight and a lost sense of time, sharp ridges, crossing crevasses and battling constant headwinds of 60mph with temperatures reaching as low as -40F.

2nd leg of the journey... (Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station to McMurdo Station)

Jan 8th, 2027, I will leave from the Amundsen-Scott South Pole. I will travel 995 miles following the South Pole Overland Traverse (SPOT) arriving to McMurdo Station on February 9th, 2027. This is the distance from Washington DC to Palm Beach, FL at extreme elevations, bitter temperatures and only surviving on what I can carry for 32 days...

This money raised is to get me to Antarctica and back home as well as the gear I need to do this safely. Any left over funds will go to the charities: Detroit Animal Welfare Group (DAWG), St. Jude's Children's Hospital and The Fallen and Wounded Soldiers Fund.
