Jack has her license back… and is now facing car issues. We’ve replaced the starter battery (which is what most car sources said to try first) but unfortunately after running a code scanner we’ve now realized the issue is with the hybrid battery which is a far more annoying issue. Most mechanics won’t mess with hybrid batteries (a high chance for electrocution, apparently) so I can’t just order a battery and install it myself. GreenTec can replace it for much cheaper than Toyota, AND they’ll come to the house. Unfortunately this means a few more weeks of needing to take ride shares home from work, also.
