Help Jack Murphy Heal After Heart Attack

The Murphy family is experiencing really heavy stress as Jack had a heart attack while skiing on Easter. Jean-Jacques was with him on the chair lift going up the slopes at Kirkwood and was able to hold onto to Jack while ski patrol rushed to help in just a few seconds. Ski patrol had to shock Jack three times to revive him and we are so beyond grateful for their quick response. The family is together and Jack is alive and being cared for by some of the best doctors in the world, thanks to Jean-Jacques’ quick reaction and those of the ski patrol and medical community.

The Murphy family is getting tremendous support and Jean-Jacques and his sister Quinn realize their Dad has a lot of healing to do, and they also feel hopeful he will recover fully.

Your concerns are deeply appreciated and the Murphys encourage you to take this as a reminder to spend quality time with your loved ones, share with them how much you love/care for them, and learn what to do in an emergency. Like Jean-Jacques, you might save someone’s life and it might be the life of your loved ones.

We are asking that if you can help offset some of the financial burden on the Murphys, please make a contribution to Jack’s recovery fund. He is at UCSF, away from their home

in Monterey, and the family has to incur not only medical costs that fall outside of their insurance coverage but also lodging, parking and meals.

Also, if you are part of a time share type of program that has access to hotels or rentals in San Francisco and can share your points, providing the family with a place to stay is a tremendous help.
