Jack and Lyn Mount, residents of Cypress Woods RV Resort, experienced a devastating loss last night when a fire broke out in their home. The fire, which started from lithium batteries in their golf cart, quickly raged through their house and destroyed nearly everything. Tragically, they also lost their beloved pet corgi, Denver, along with most of their personal belongings. The home was a recent purchase, and they had not yet secured homeowners insurance, leaving them in an incredibly vulnerable position.

As friends and members of the Cypress Woods community, we are rallying together to support Jack and Lyn during this difficult time. The funds raised will help them build a new home and furnish it, so they can begin to rebuild their lives. Thankfully, they have excellent health insurance, but the costs of replacing their home and belongings are overwhelming. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference and help them move forward.
