Dear Friends and Community,
On Monday, December 22, 2025, Jack was tragically struck by a vehicle while cycling during a holiday trip to visit family in Oklahoma. He was flown by helicopter to Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, where he remains unconscious. While stable, he is in critical condition and has suffered a traumatic brain injury and a broken arm.
Jack is an extraordinary person — a devoted friend and colleague, and above all a deeply loving father, husband, son, and brother. He is an avid cyclist and outdoorsman, a former Duke University soccer player, and someone whose generosity and character are felt by everyone who knows him. His community spans far and wide: from Norman, Oklahoma; to his Duke soccer and college family; to friends in San Francisco and beyond; and his home in Boulder, Colorado.
Family is at the center of Jack’s life, and he is surrounded by loved ones, including his wife, Brittyn, and their wonderful children, Sam (3) and Nora (1).
Jack and his family need our support now. We ask you to consider contributing to help cover the significant medical and rehabilitation expenses ahead, as well as the family’s living costs while they remain by Jack’s side and until they are able to return to Boulder. Every contribution will make a real and immediate difference.
If you are able to give, please do so today. And if you cannot, sharing this message is another powerful way to help rally support around Jack and his family.
Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and care. Let’s come together to support Jack in this critical moment and help carry his family through the days ahead.
With gratitude,
All those who love Jack and the Coleman family
P.S. GoFundMe applies a small processing fee to each donation. If you’d prefer to help the family avoid these fees, you’re welcome to contribute directly. Every bit of support – no matter how it’s given – means so much to the Colemans. Brittyn Coleman’s Venmo for direct contributions: @brittyncoleman.
