Hi everyone, on June 16th, my mom’s husband(my stepdad), Jack Gardner, was rushed to the hospital after he fainted at work, and hours later, he was diagnosed with a spontaneous brain aneurysm. He was life flighted to Mercy Medical Center in Redding for further assessments and will be receiving a craniotomy to stop the bleeding. He’s got a high chance of recovery; however, his path to recovery will be long.

My mother (who’s been incredibly strong through all of this) will be taking care of him. However, this impacts her ability to work, and he will require lots of treatment after his surgery (physical therapy, speech therapy, etc.), which will most likely have to be done in a city four hours from my hometown.

All donations will go directly to my mother so that she can continue to be his biggest supporter throughout this and can have one less thing to stress about. Please keep him and my family in your thoughts as we navigate through this. We love you, Jack.
