Hello everyone,

My name is Jack and I am creating this GoFundMe page for myself to help raise money in order to fix my car. I normally don't like to ask for help because I feel like I need to try to fix everything myself, but this is one of those times where I am struggling and I need to learn to ask for help. On April 3rd, 2026, I was involved in a rear-end car accident on Las Tunas and San Gabriel.

I am extremely grateful that the other party and I were not seriously injured when the accident happened. The accident has been making me feel like I had lost everything in an instant because I had just started to slowly get my life in order, but now that my car is wrecked, it hurts to look at my car knowing that this happened.

No one really tells you how stressful it is after you have been in a car accident. You have to deal with everything on your own by contacting the insurance company, lawyers, the other party involved, etc., and at the end of the day, you have no car to use to drive. It has been a rough 24 to 48 hours researching online and visiting/calling many body shops near the area to see if any mechanic is willing to help me fix my car for a reasonable price.

I use this car to go to work and run errands every day. This is my very first car that I have driven and I had to work really hard to buy my own car because my family couldn't afford to buy me one. I have grown to love this car and I am not ready to let go of it yet. Some of the body shops that I reached out to say that it's not worth fixing it and that I should just buy a new car, but they don't seem to understand that this car means a lot to me and I still want to be able to keep it for as long as I can. Luckily, I was able to find a body shop near my area that is willing to help me fix my car, understands how I feel, and is taking the time to go out of their way to make sure that I get back up on my feet.

I am asking for your help now. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward covering the cost of fixing my car.
