Hi everyone,
This is Jack—my sweet boy who has been by my side through everything. He’s loving, loyal, and the kind of dog who just wants to be close to his people.
But for the past few years, Jack has been living with something he can’t explain—constant pain in his tail.
When he was a puppy, his tail used to wag nonstop. Now, it hangs limp, and he can’t lift it at all. If anyone accidentally touches it, he snaps—not because he’s mean, but because it hurts him. And as his owner, it’s heartbreaking to know he’s been silently dealing with this for so long.
After finally getting answers, we now know this isn’t something that will heal on its own. Jack is likely dealing with long-term damage, and the best way to relieve his pain is surgery to remove the damaged part of his tail.
It’s not an easy decision—but it’s the right one. Dogs don’t dwell on what they lose… they just feel the relief of no longer hurting.
We’re trying to raise $2,500 to cover:
• Vet visits and imaging
• Surgery
• Medication and recovery care
More than anything, I just want to see Jack comfortable again. To know he’s not hurting every time he moves or gets touched. He deserves that.
If you’re able to donate, thank you from the bottom of my heart. And if you can’t, sharing this would mean the world to us.
Thank you for helping Jack get the life he deserves ❤️
