Help Jack Buttler Recover from Diving Accident

Donation protected
Jack Buttler is my best friend, co-worker, and role model, as well as a dedicated sea urchin diver. On Thursday, January 28, Jack suffered a serious decompression injury while diving, which caused a central nervous system hit to his spinal cord. This tragic accident resulted in the loss of the majority of function in his legs, and he has been in the hospital ever since. Jack is known for his hard work, adventurous spirit, and the positive impact he has on those around him. Seeing him face such a life-changing challenge has been incredibly difficult for everyone who cares about him.

We are seeing progress in Jack’s recovery, but he still needs more treatment to regain as much mobility and independence as possible. His best chance at further recovery is through intensive chamber treatments at the Hyperbaric Medicine facility at Long Beach Memorial Hospital. These treatments are essential for his healing, but the costs are significant and ongoing. The funds raised here will go directly toward covering his medical expenses, giving Jack the opportunity to focus on his recovery.

Please help Jack on his road to recovery. Any support you can offer—whether it’s a donation or sharing this fundraiser—will make a real difference in his life. We are deeply grateful for your kindness and generosity during this difficult time.
