As many of you know, Tony and Andrea’s son Jack has suffered from Ulcerative Colitis for many years.  Jack is 9 years old and was diagnosed when he was 4.  He has endured many flares, pokes, extended hospital stays, etc. and gone through a lot of pain and suffering.   When the colon becomes inflamed it causes pain, and severe problems...he has been on many meds including steroids, Imuran, Remicade and Humira.  Recently he began a severe flare, and has been hospitalized for over a week now being treated with IV steroids.  His body did not respond to the treatment, and the time has come where surgery is the only option.  Jack will have his colon removed this week, which is the first in a series of surgeries he will need.  Although we feel sad, we are hopeful that he will feel so much better after healing.
    
Andrea has been unable to work much while Jack has been in the hospital and this will continue on-and-off for the next few months.  Unfortunately, she does not get paid when she doesn’t work, and we expect that there will be many medical bills.  For these reasons we are setting up a GoFundMe to help them with living and medical expenses.  We do this humbly,  and ask for prayers for courage and strength for their family.
