Help Jacinth Rebuild After Hurricane Melissa

Donation protected
My mother, Jacinth, lives in Catherine Hall, Montego Bay, where the eye of Hurricane Melissa caused devastating destruction. The river bank behind Catherine Hall burst, sending water throughout the community and covering every first floor in the area. The flood left a thick layer of mud everywhere, including inside the houses, turning them into mud baths. The situation has become even more dangerous because the floodwaters merged with sewage, making the houses smell and creating a serious health risk.

Jacinth lost everything inside her home—her clothes, furniture, appliances, and all her food. Now, she is not only trying to cope with her own loss, but she is also helping to house her neighbors and their children in her damaged home, even though she has no food, water, or clean clothing herself. I am deeply worried about the risk of disease and the safety of my mother and everyone in the community.

The funds raised will go directly toward helping Jacinth and her neighbors replace essential items like food and clothing, as well as repairing her home so they can have a safe place to live again. Your support will make a real difference in helping them recover from this disaster and regain hope after losing so much. Thank you for standing with us during this difficult time. This funding will be use to help with basic needs.
