Help Jaci help Addi with her ACL

Hello! My name is Julia and I am starting this go fund me for the goofiest pair I know. My sister Jaci and her sweet pup Addi.
About a month ago, we believe Addi got spooked by something (not uncommon. She a high-strung boopable girl). She was lying on the ground and struggled to get back up without help or yelping and being confused. The initial diagnosis was an pulled back or hips and to treat it with anti inflammatories to see how she does in the next couple weeks. She and my sister were real troupers and it appeared to maybe get a little better, but then a lot worse. After x rays revealed not one, but two torn ACLs my sister did a deep dive into all the options. The first recommendation, and the best, is an ACL repair surgery.
Imma take a pause...
For those friends who are not dog people and don't get it, I invite you to put your compassion pants on and try to understand the special place that animals hold in my family's hearts. Addi is a young dog for her breed and ACL surgery is not an unknown occurrence in dog ownership of wiggle-butt breeds.
Back to your regular broadcast!
Can a dog recover from a torn acl without surgery? Sometimes. But her life quality would be significantly reduced. She is an aussie lab mix, so she is active and loves a good job. She is also super sensitive. Like call her a bad girl and she will 100% turn into Cosmo the golden retriever from Guardians of the Galaxy. To imagine Addi without zoomies is not an option. But I digress. There is no question that surgery is the right decision.

Surgery has (with this surgeon) a 100% recovery rate. That is a no brainer.
Surgery is also $3,800 PER knee. That is an ouchy no brainer.

My Seester
Those of you who know Jaci, know she is one of the hardest working, most giving of themselves person you will ever meet. She has volunteered all her adult life at church and dog shelters. She will always say yes if there is something she can do to help to a fault. She is loyal AF. And she would also never ever ask you for help with something like this. So I am.
$10,000 is not an easy thing to come up with out of nowhere. By the end of this with supplies, x rays, etc I am sure it will be around that figure if not more.
So why $5,000?
Addi is scheduled for surgery November 2nd. They start with one knee, then another surgery later on. This means all together for the first surgery, pre op, supplies, and drugs, $5,000 should be a helpful chunk. Also there a fees that gofundme takes.

Please consider donating. Every little bit helps and goes straight to the vet.

TLDR version: gimme your money or I might just call each and every one of you "trying to reach you about your car's extended warranty"
